Trine's DuplicateFix did not remove all my duplicates?
Why?

Since Trine's DuplicateFix (TDF)is specially made to be super-easy and quick to use, it has zero user interaction. You start it, and it removes any IDENTICAL duplicates.
Since it has zero user-interaction, it can not and should not remove "almost identical"-matches. The ones that "have all fields the same...except for just one tiny thing".
Then it would end up deleting contacts, appointments and tasks that was not a match, or it would delete the "wrong" match.
And this is not just some "excuse" from our side, since we have always offered a
FREE application that DO handle "almost identical matches", namely the free
application "TrineFix".

The solution; TrineFix

TrineFix was our first application, the one that started it all for us. It has always been free, and was published on Xda-Developers early 2008, and still is out free for all to use.
TrineFix is a lot more advanced than "TrineFix -DuplicateFix", and handling
several types of duplicates is just one of it's many features.
But most importantly for YOU (since you clicked to this page, we assume it was for a reason), TrineFix will handle just about any duplicate issue.
So how will TrineFix solve this for me then?
TrineFix will automatically do what "TrineFix -DuplicateFix" (TDF) do, meaning remove any 100% identical matches fully automatically, but here the similarities stop.
With TrineFix you can also find duplicates that has just the same name, and several other variants. And
you get a preview of all the duplicates, where you can make adjustments, before applying the fix.
This way YOU decide which instances to keep or not.
That was the whole point with TrineFix, let the user decide what to keep or not, but make it super-easy for the user to find possible duplicates, and make it easy for him/her to select the ones to keep or not.
So, what's the catch?
There is no catch, TrineFix is free, as in "truly free", no adverts, no payments, no hidden things, nothing. We did not make
TrineFix to earn any money, I made it for my girlfriend at the time, who has the name..."Trine".
So it was a fix for Trine's issue with duplicates, and therefore the name TrineFix, and later all the my apps was called "TrineSeries".
TrineFix truly solved Trine's issues, and it worked so great, that friends of mine tested it and was equally happy, and we saw in webforums that lots of people had gotten duplicates after ActiveSync issues and so forth.
So we posted it on xda-developers.com, and were just happy that others could benefit from the program too.
We passed 50.000 downloads of TrineFix during 2010, so the program has been a fairly popular app on "good old Windows Mobile".
OK, so how do I get it on my phone then?
Easy, just go to THIS page, and you find download instruction, and link to installation/CAB-file.
And don't worry about that info in that page about "you need .Net 3.5 for this program", since you DO have .Net 3.5 on your phone...since "Trine's Duplicatfix" (that you already have on your phone) also requires .Net 3.5 to be able to start.
